Boats are moving between Braunston and Stoke Bruerne. Does anyone know of blacking that is ice proof? We don't keep our blacking for very long. Sue
It may be the metal rather than the blacking - after I did icebreaking in 2001 I was surprised to find the tar varnish was intact except on the actual stem-post so presumably tar sticks to wrought iron. Sean [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
