First trip (hopefully Friday) will be an hour up the cut and back, just to make sure nothing falls off in the engine 'ole and no red lights come on at working revs. (This would normally be done by the boatyard crew, but since we're on the spot...) Then, next week, we should move on for real and take her away for a few days, probably up to Bugsworth, to see if we can make her come to bits in any way, and to spot the deliberate mistakes. Then she goes back in the yard, and we plan to visit son and hare, and daughter-in-law at their home to inspect the grandkids, whilst Braidbar do any snagging. After that, we'll set off for Crick via Alrewas for dental and medical checks. We'll be back up here in September for the Braidbar Owners' weekend, and that will give us a chance to have any further snagging done after 6 months use. Still no buyer in sight for Sanity, so we may well be moving her to Crick as well - not sure of exact dates yet, but your kind offer has not been forgotten. I'll email off list when we have a better idea.
