Evidently lots of people feel the same. I stayed in Llangollen Basin three times with various groups of friends between June and August last year and on every occasion there were plenty of overnight moorings available, with 25-50% free each time. A significant number of boats come and go during the day, at least as many who stay the night. I'd agree that paying for the marina is reasonable as it's a new and expensively provided facility but paying to moor on line is unacceptable in any circumstances. If we could not have stayed in the basin we would have left the area. Steve NB Bream
