I did it (more than once) in Bream which draws around 2'9" last summer. Yes there are a couple of shallow bits but take it easy and you won't even touch the bottom most of the time. Off the top of my head the bad its were: the very last bit of the concrete section about half a mile after Trevor the bridge hole by the hotel half a mile before the first narrows the last bridge before the second narrows (the one before the lift bridge) where the towpath side is very shallow by the house so take the entrance to the bridge pretty wide.
