Pay in the Leisure Centre behind the moorings. It was about £8 -£9 a night last year. If they're full, go down the Avon around 500 m below the lock, just beyond Broad Quay bridge, and there's a long length of free 48 h moorings on the RHS (N bank) which weren't shown in our copy of Nichs (possibly not the latest edition). You can see them clearly on Google Earth. Other people tie up to the railings below the lock on the S bank. It will be busy on the Pulteney moorings.
