Since the bug that this kernel snap revision was initially rejected for was found to be also present in at least two older revisions (one of them is currently in the stable channel of the snap) and it is unclear at the moment when the issue was introduced, it was decided in agreement with the certification team that this bug will not be considered a regression and this snap revision should eventually be promoted to the stable channel. This will allow users to receive CVE fixes included in this and future kernel updates. Nonetheless, we should continue to investigate the cause of this issue going forward.
