Question #821513 on Ubuntu-Certification changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-certification/+question/821513

Description changed to:
I'm running a WooCommerce store here: https://theoncloudshoes.com

Recently, I noticed a recurring issue where:

WooCommerce REST API calls (especially admin-ajax.php) time out

Logs show intermittent PHP-FPM child process failures

This impacts everything from cart updates to third-party plugin APIs

Steps to reproduce:

Install WooCommerce on a WordPress instance (PHP 8.1, Apache)

Use a plugin that makes regular AJAX calls (e.g., currency switchers,
Cloudflare cache plugins)

Monitor /var/log/php8.1-fpm.log and watch for child process failures

This bug affects frontend behavior and causes random 502s.

System Info:

Ubuntu 22.04

Apache 2.4.52

PHP 8.1.2

WooCommerce latest

Please let me know if logs or config dumps are helpful. Thanks!
