I tried what ArTaX suggested and now Skype seems to be working fine, but now I cannot control sound volume!
I think that what those commands do is disable access to other user to Pulse, so Skype might be using another driver for the sound device. If this is the problem, I guess that the issue is the combination of Skype plus Pulse. I will try to enable Pulse again and see if I can change Skype to use another handler for audio.
