Public bug reported: The latest update of adobe-flashplugin seems not to be available to the users. If I install adobe-flashplugin on Bionic (after having run "sudo apt update") I get version 1:20180313.1-0ubuntu1, which provides Flash 29.0.0.113.
Testing it on https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/ results in the error message "Flash Player is out of date (29,0,0,113).". However, if I install flashplugin-installer instead, it downloads adobe- flashplugin_20180410.1.orig.tar.gz, and I get an updated Flash for Firefox. ** Affects: adobe-flashplugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Critical Status: New ** Changed in: adobe-flashplugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Canonical Partner Developers, which is subscribed to adobe-flashplugin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767476 Title: Flash Player out of date To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/adobe-flashplugin/+bug/1767476/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev Post to : canonical-partner-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
