Public bug reported: I know from the message it might seem like this is in fact, not an issue with openqa but with ubuntu, but I am using the same iso on another computer with openqa and it boots perfectly fine. So I'm not sure what's going on.
Here is my repo where I am doing this work, where you can see how I'm running openqa etc: https://github.com/andersson1234/openqa_ubuntu The working system is as follows: Ubuntu Jammy amd64 ``` apt list --installed | grep openqa WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts. openqa-client/jammy,jammy,now 4.6.1640268275.25ac0d7-2 all [installed, automatic] openqa-common/jammy,jammy,now 4.6.1640268275.25ac0d7-2 all [installed, automatic] openqa-worker/jammy,jammy,now 4.6.1640268275.25ac0d7-2 all [installed] openqa/jammy,jammy,now 4.6.1640268275.25ac0d7-2 all [installed] ``` Non-functioning system: Ubuntu Lunar amd64 ``` apt list --installed | grep openqa WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts. openqa-client/lunar,now 4.6.1674490999.b00c12673-2 all [installed, automatic] openqa-common/lunar,now 4.6.1674490999.b00c12673-2 all [installed, automatic] openqa-worker/lunar,now 4.6.1674490999.b00c12673-2 all [installed] openqa/lunar,now 4.6.1674490999.b00c12673-2 all [installed] ``` The system boots perfectly fine on the jammy system, but not the Lunar system. I have no idea what's causing the difference. The iso itself is completely fine, I can boot it and it works with virt-manager and virt- install, without experiencing the same error. ** Affects: openqa (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Canonical's Ubuntu QA, which is subscribed to openqa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2026723 Title: Booting ubuntu disk image with openqa results in 'Ubuntu has experienced an internal error' Status in openqa package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I know from the message it might seem like this is in fact, not an issue with openqa but with ubuntu, but I am using the same iso on another computer with openqa and it boots perfectly fine.
