Bug description:
Issue found on 5.10.0-1020.21 - oem with node spitfire / glameow.
Failed twice with 2 attempts.
The ftrace test in ubuntu_kernel_selftests failed with:
# [68] event trigger - test synthetic_events syntax parser errors [FAIL]
This failure can be found on 5.10.0-1019-oem as well.
