I've been successful at using Cap to run individual commands on remote machines. In particular, I've run script/console, given it commands, and retrieved the output:

That is, give script/console a command, examine the result, and then give it another command, based on what I received. I have a few ideas along these lines, but nothing that I'm all that pleased with. So, I'm hoping for clues, pointers, and suggestions. -r -- http://www.cfcl.com/rdm Rich Morin http://www.cfcl.com/rdm/resume [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cfcl.com/rdm/weblog +1 650-873-7841 Technical editing and writing, programming, and web development --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/capistrano -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
