Lee, I appreciate the reply. I tried everything.

There is something wrong with this
when i reload the server  -> sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 reload

I get this error,

Warning: DocumentRoot [/var/www/myapplication/public] does not exist

It does names sense coz there isn't any public folder.
