Jay, you would probably encourage more people to help if you made it easy for them. If you paste the actual error message you're seeing, someone might recognise the error and tell you about it. If you quote and cut carefully so that the whole problem and context is visible in one message, then you make it easy for someone to help you, even when they haven't read and remembered the whole conversation. Remember that we're peers here, not a paid support team. If it's easy to help you, more people will try. If you make people work hard to understand the problem then people will move on to something more interesting. Also, remember that this is a mailing list and not real-time chat. Many subscribers will only check their messages during the week, and perhaps only once a day. For real-time chat, there is an IRC channel #capistrano on FreeNode. I'm not sure when the "busy hours" are for that.
