Capistrano supports SVN so how about that? If your repo is on github, it supports svn too <https://help.github.com/articles/support-for-subversion-clients>! You just have to figure out how to make it work.
On second thought that might be more effort than just buying 5$ digital ocean VPS instead of using shared hosting.
