I wonder how well it would work to create a job that checks out new commits
from the wiki, send them to something like spamicity.info and mails this
list if the content looks like spam?

Since the offending commits are deleted now, I can't make a quick test -
does anyone have the original spam commits and could you perhaps share them
somehow?
