With this camera, I was able to zoom, control the flash and take pictures. I did not try manual focus.
I hung the camera and a battery powered linksys NSLU-2 linux board with a wlan usb dongle from from a tethered weather balloon. I have been looking for a lighter camera that supports remote capture and USB 2.0, but I have not found a better solution than the A620. -s.
