According to the shopping cart sample, they get deployed in the following URL. /_system/config/repository/dashboards/gadgets/ProductList.xml Therefore you have to specify the URL below as the gadget URL /registry/resource/_system/config/repository/dashboards/gadgets/ProductList.xml And also I can assure you that I have tested all these in a fresh machine. During that testing round, we found a few of the flaws in documentation. We will do the necessary corrections and additions before the next release happens.
