Hi, I am going to do the $subject since it has got new features such as SSL support which is useful for BAM use cases. The latest Thrift version is 0.7. Since Cassandra is not compatible with latest Thrift version we need to keep the older version of Thrift as well and differentiate using OSGi versioning at run time. This will require some changes in Cassandra. If there are any concerns please let me know.
