Hi guys, At the moment this is a limitation in the current dashboard, you wont get the menu item, after installing the dashboard components, This is mainly because, we do not have multiple dashboard support and different products have different dashboards (gadgets in product specific locations) However we are planing to fix this with the dashboard redesign.
For the moment you can follow, the same method you have done earlier, how ever after going throw some commit logs I see that this is being removed [1], Please refer to GREG, to see how they are doing it at [2] And for the dashboard XML you need to have your own product specific dashboard xml, refer to GREG at [3] both these things you have already done in previous versions. Sorry for the inconvenience, we are planing to fix these short comings ASAP.
