Hi, sorry for the late reply. This change happened during the recent equinox migration.The naming we had "org.wso2.carbon.foo-x.y.z.SNAPSHOT" is not matching the equinox/eclipse naming conventions.
If you check a Eclipse distribution you will find the same convention. (this is the behaviour of p2-director) thanks --Pradeep
