If I am not wrong the email sent to the [Care2002-developers] list with the subject:
"Servicios de hospedaje Web y Registro de Dominios, desde 3.95 dlls"
qualifies as unsolicited publicity of a commercial product by electronic means (aka "spam").
As far as I know it violates the rules by which the Care2x project is being allowed to stay hosted at the Sourceforge network. I am sure that it also violates several national laws an at least one supranational (EU) directive.
I am afraid that if we do not deal with any single spam attempt vigorously we risk to see this list flooded by unsolicited spam emails.
As such I am asking the Care2x project manager to report the incident to the Sourceforge.net, in order to have the spam sender, his domain, and the products he is advertising, blacklisted and publicized as spam email content producer, spam email purveyor and spam email products.

Please also report to: http://sf.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=1&atid=200001 the fact that this email has been analyzed by the Sourceforge's "Spamassassin" spam filtering application and was able to get a low spam score [X-Spam-Score] of 0.0
I am sure that the Sourceforge.net organization, using its branches in several countries, will know how to deal effectively with the situation.
