Hello all,

I am proud to announce the availability of a real Plugins System for Care2x
with working plugin packages for download.

You can get detailed info here:

http://plugins.care2x.org

You can test the online demo of the packages before you decide to plug them in
your installation. Just click on the "demo here" links on the "Special notes"
column of the list.

I suggest you try at least the "Immunization Scheduler". This was developed by
Dr. S.B. Bhattacharyya. Another interesting and potentially useful
application is the iPath developed by Kurt Brauchli.

Note that you need to add the Plugin Manager first before you can add plugins.
This is due to the fact that the Plugin Manager is integrated only starting
at Care2x beta 2.0.1 (not yet released). More info about it is at the said
website.

You can also package you own plugin. Just follow the instructions given at the
said website and send your plugin to me. This plugin concept is advisable for
applications which do not have or too little dependencies on other services
(e.g. database) and do not require complicated configuration of the
application.

Best regards,
Elpidio Latorilla
