would anyone like to monitor adodb development and notify us immediately when maxdb is supported?
I am (also) monitoring adoDB.
Two days ago Mark Newnham just posted a proposal about maxdb at the adoDB forum: http://tinyurl.com/57msg
I the other way I have posted to the adoDB forum (in 27-11-2004) a proposal to include a a ticketing system to the adoDB lib: http://tinyurl.com/5lc7y
That way with a banal server and a small front-end pc one could effectively serve about 128 (or 2^4) simultaneous read/write clients.
I am sure that it would be very welcome by the less rich hospitals to have mainframe level service served by two low cost and pretty standard PCs.
Best regards,
J. Antas
