Hi all,

I'm using FC3, PHP 5.03, MySQL 5.0.2.
When I tried to install care2x automatically (using
htdocs/install/install.php), I met an error message:
*"Fatal error*: Call to undefined function
mysql_create_db() in
*/var/www/html/care2x/htdocs/install/install.php* on
line *148"
*Why I got this error? Please show me a way to correct
it.

Thanks in advance.
Viet Hung

Sorry for not having the time to give you an exact
step to step howto.. but here you have the explanation
of the error, if you know then how to fix it.

That error means your PHP5 does not have mysql activated
or compiled in, or so.. maybe you have just to install
the mysql module (php-mysql packet), or to simply activate it.

Hello Viet,

care2x has not been tested yet with the php 5.0. Please downgrade to an =
older=20
version say 4.3 or something.

But if you want to develop care2x further for php 5.0, please check the=20
equivalent of mysql_create_db() for php 5.0. If am remember it rightly, I=
=20
have read somewhere sometime that this function will not be supported in=20
future versions of php so I guess they finally dropped it in php 5.0. Of=
=20
course, even after you have replaced this function, you will surely encou=
nter=20
some more incompatibilities. It is up to you to either experiment with p=
hp=20
5.0 or downgrade and run care2x immediately.

Regards,
Elpidio

Doubts. ...

Greetings, a doubt has arisen me and I like that to respond..

If wanting install the care2x in various hospitals so that they work in the
shape of a network of hospitals.. we say of Cardiologia or nefrologia as can
be done, therefore alone I have seen that works very well for a single
hospital, but if we want to utilize it in various hospitals that changes or
modifications one must carry out???

Denis
