Hi, I proposed that many years ago to Elp�dio, along w/ Smarty, phpMailer, FPDF and others :)
Today phpGACL is in use at least by MamboCMS, OS-SIM & Leads4Web, php.MVC and TikiWiki (soon) among others. There is also phpSecurityAdmin (http://phpsecurityadm.sourceforge.net/).
