Hello to all,

the process of creating a really good, secure, accepted, and future
compatible HIS, requires a really good, open, creative communication
between the developers.

There is a very nice setting, where this kind of communication emerges
almost spontaneously. Maybe some of you know it: the Open Space
Technology, or OST [1]. It follows the KISS paradigm well known to
developers: "Keep it Straight and Simple".

I want to invite you all to read the 4 rules and the law below and whoever
likes to follow the rules is invited to do so.

--------------------------------------------------

The 4 Rules in Open Space Technology:

* It starts when it starts
* It's over when it's over
* Whoever comes is the right person
* Whatever happens is the only that could have

And the (only) law is called:

* the law of two feet

meaning simply that,
- if you can not contribute or
- if you do not benefit
just use your feet and move on

---------------------------------------------------

So these rules can also be applied to a virtual team:
If you don't contribute nor benefit from participating, you are free to
move on.
And:
If you are about to criticise someone, just have a look at the rules and
remember, that all that happens is wellcome and is not worth beeing
criticed at all.

The result, as I experienced many times, is emerging effectiveness in
communication and an appreciative attitude between the involved people.

Enjoy,
Nino
