Hi, Thank you all for your responses.
The old system is running under paradox and it is very unstable. I would like to migrate to Care2x. I was able to retrieve all of the 60,000 records into excel. a copy of the excel format is enclosed for your reference. I would be grateful for any help in the form of a tool or a migration script (backend based) to import this data. Regards On 4/12/07, [EMAIL PROTECTED] < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

If it's bigger you might have timeout errors if you're using phpmyadmin as interface. Better to do it on a shell using the tool "mysqldump". But the question of OP was not how to backup (or restore) an existing care2x database, it is - when I understood correct - how to migrate form "whatever"-system to care2x. This must be done by individual script to convert existing data structure to care2x and its care_person table (or other tables). By the way, I would like to post more of our experiences, also to handle data corruptions and so on to the wiki page. Who is responsible for that pages to upload their some manuals about care2x we have? Robert _____ Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von lykim quyen Gesendet: Donnerstag, 12.
