I didn't even remembered good old HL7 :-)
PHP HL7 was developed by a Care2x developer many years ago.

I think the idea was to integrate it in HXP (that was supposed to be
XML-RPC, SOAP, HL7, XML)

Maybe we should work on that again.
Neverthless, HXP has everything available for any ERP package to grab using
this simple protocol. And there are XML-RPC libraries for almost any
language out there.
