Check in the config file and make sure postgres is the default. You don't
need to downgrade. I actually tested it in postgres 8.

I must confess that the response  for queries from new  care2x  hardly  get
answered and  am saying this from personal experience. Am trying to find the
time to put some form of documentation for new users.
