Hi Joe,
Upload your volume here (if Analyze/SPM format, upload the .hdr first,
which won't take long, so I can get the dimensions and other header
information; gzip or zip the .img before sending):

If you're resampling to cubic 1mm, then I'm guessing this is an
anatomical volume you want to segment. If so, you don't want SPM
smoothing it. You might want SPM to spatially normalize it first,
depending on what type of analyses you are doing.
I should point out that there also are ways to resample to cubic 1mm in
SPM, if you're already familiar with that package. Sometimes users find
it simpler to do it that way. You can play with the parameters on the
Display dialog; write out a .mat; and apply it with the Coregister:
reslice only function. (Haven't tried this in SPM5, and it's been a
long time since I've done this in SPM2.)

To all again,
When trying to resample the voxel size to 1mm^3 in Caret 5.3, I receive an error that says Caret can't find any more memory, and if I continue, Caret will crash. Clicking "Continue" results in the same window appearing, regardless of how many times "Continue" is clicked. The other option is to "Exit Caret"...which is effective in closing Caret. The workstation I am using has a gig of RAM, 1.8GHz processor, and plenty of virtual mem (this is why I asked about min requirements in my previous message). Has anyone else received the same error? Solutions? I am unsure of whether or not my volume has been smoothed in SPM...would this be relevant?
Thank you...
