Hi Volker,
You're right, it looks like there is a type mismatch in libmysequoia. We
are going to do a 64bits libmysequoia build next week.
If you can wait until then...
Thanks,
Gilles.

Hello Gilles!
I suppose you have changed libmysequoia accordantly to the changes in
carob -
since compiling stable libmysequoia-0.9.1.tar.gz against the patched
carob from nightly-CVS yields
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../include -I/usr/include/mysql
-DBIG_JOINS=1 -g -O2 -I/usr/include/carob -MT libmysequoia_la-Utils.lo
-MD -MP -MF .deps/libmysequoia_la-Utils.Tpo -c Utils.cpp -fPIC -DPIC
-o .libs/libmysequoia_la-Utils.o
Utils.cpp: In function 'void getFromString(MYSQL_BIND*, MYSQL_FIELD*,
void*)':
Utils.cpp:911: error: no matching function for call to 'max(long
unsigned int, int64_t)'
make[1]: *** [libmysequoia_la-Utils.lo] Fehler 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/lib/libmysequoia-0.9.1/src'
make: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1
which is no surprise.
So I tried to build libmysequoia from the CVS-sources and been stuck
again:
* autoconf does not cleanly produces an ./configure script
ctrl1:/usr/local/lib/carob-scm-2006-10-20# cd libmysequoia/
ctrl1:/usr/local/lib/carob-scm-2006-10-20/libmysequoia# autoconf
configure.ac:3: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use
m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.ac:4: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
configure.ac:15: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL
configure.ac:48: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONDITIONAL
* Some files install-sh etc. seem to be missing
ctrl1:/usr/local/lib/carob-scm-2006-10-20/libmysequoia# ./configure
configure: error: cannot find install-sh or install.sh in "." "./.."
"./../.."
Please give me a hint: How to build libmysequoia from the CVS-Sources?
Best Regards,
Volker
