Pour ce qui est du kernel 2.4 et si mes souvenirs sont bons, il fallait pour avoir l'acpi patcher le noyau. Pour avoir des infos sur l'état du système une fois acpid lancé" tu peux installer le package nommé "acpi" (apt-get install acpi); La commande "acpi -V" affiche les infos disponibles dans la console. Le daemon acpid provoque normalement le chargement des modules nécessaires sous kernel 2.6.
