Instead of unconditionally displaying the FontAwesome lock icon, I'd like to be able to set a CSS class for each SAML provider (which would default to fa-lock), which would allow deployers to set up logos for each of their SAML providers. It seems like a pretty straightforward thing. If there are no objections, I'll go ahead with setting up an issue and start on the coding and eventual pull request.
