I haven't done this on windows in a long while, but I'd do the empty folder. Clone with depth of 1.
Alternatively, remove " C:\Development\github\apereo\cas\webapp\cas-server-webapp\.gradle" and the node_modules" directory both from everywhere in the project structure.
