I'm trying to do some code review of the CAS4 codebase. I'm trying to get my head around why the ServiceAccessRequest interface extends LoginRequest. I think some API documentation or especially a diagram of the core API interfaces might answer that question and clarify the design in general, but I can't find anything like that on http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CAS4UM/. Are there some design documents I can read? Extra points for documentation that compares components in the CAS4 API to similar ones in CAS3.
