All CAS Client and CAS Developer Leads, The steering committee determined in its last meeting that it was important to ensure that all of the release steps for building the CAS clients and CAS servers was well documented and published such that in an emergency anyone else could publish a release. When you get a moment, please produce something if there is currently no document (or if there is just let us know where it is).
Steps for a release include: 1. Tagging a release (tag syntax, etc.) 2. Building the release 3. Packaging the release 4. Hosting the release 5. Appropriate announcements (i.e. mailing list, web site, etc.) Thanks!
