Jasig changed its certificate to use GoDaddy. Not all JVM's trust GoDaddy. In trunk we've changed the tests. You can instead add -Dmaven.tests.skip=true to run it. In general we actually recommend you not build it yourself, but instead use the Maven2 WAR Overlay.
