Marvin and Jérôme, As Nathan has already mentioned, he will be leaving the organization and handing off responsibilities to a number of us remaining here, I being the principal player in this effort.
I would therefore like to participate in the proposed conference call discussing LOA. Please keep me posted and I look forward to working with you. Thanks. - Lee -----Original Message----- From: Nathan Kopp [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2012 3:24 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [cas-dev] Validation of LOA spec I am interested in possibly participating in the call. However, I need to inform the CAS community that I have accepted a job with a new employer and therefore will only be working with Cru (a.k.a. CCCI) for a little while longer. Because my new employer doesn't currently have a need for cross-platform web single sign-on, my involvement in CAS development work will decrease to only whatever I choose to do in my spare time. Unfortunately, this means that I probably won't be doing much of the actual development work for the LOA implementation. :-( While I am excited about my new job opportunity, I am certainly going to miss working with CAS and the great CAS community. However, Cru will still have three Java developers actively working on CAS. One is Lee Braddock, who is taking my place as the lead in-house CAS developer for my department. He is has been "lurking" on the mailing lists, and has become familiar with the CAS codebase by doing significant work on our custom CAS implementation. The second is Daniel Frett, a member of a different (but complementary) IT department in the same building, who is already an active participant in the CAS community. The third developer, Robby, is being transitioned onto the team to backfill for Lee who is backfilling for me. I have already done some work transferring knowledge, and I will continue to do more in the next few weeks. At least Lee and Robby will be available to help with the coding of the LOA implementation, and possibly also Daniel. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes to the CAS community, and I will try to keep in touch via the mailing list. Although I won't be employed by Cru or working on CAS as part of my day job, I still have an interest in seeing both Cru and CAS succeed in their respective areas! :-) -Nathan Kopp On 10/3/12 9:29 AM, "Marvin Addison" <[email protected]> wrote: >> I didn't get any feedback on LOA : >>https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/Level+Of+Assurance+-+Head+document. >> >> It's too bad : I'd like to keep energy and enthousiasm on this. > >Agreed.
