Thanks Jérôme. I have already taken a look at the JVM wide proxy settings.
Since they apply to all the connections, I cannot use it.

So the cas-client jar provides the ticket validation hook
( Cas20ProxyTicketValidator  & Cas20ServiceTicketValidator), I am looking at
the possibility of setting web proxy server values in the OOTB hook.

Thanks,
Milan

Subject: re:[cas-dev] Using Web proxy in front of CAS

Hi,

You're talking about a *web* proxy whereas the Cas20ProxyTicketValidator deals
with the *CAS* proxy concept, it's totally different.

The request made to validate the service ticket is a simple java.net
HttpUrlConnection, for which you can set proxy with the system properties :
http.proxyHost and http.proxyPort. Be aware it's for the whole JVM.

Best regards,
Jérôme
