The row that has "CAS Client" initially was confusing to me, but I eventually saw that this for what I've been calling front-channel authentication (like OAuth client, OpenId client, etc). Makes me wonder if anyone has had any experience with OneLogin SAML toolkit for Java: https://onelogin.zendesk.com/entries/512080-SAML-toolkit-for-Java Would be interesting to look at SAML2.0 Web Browser SSO Profile as yet another front-channel authentication mechanism for the CAS server.
