Very briefly - Hazelcast v 3 looks very solid as far as implementation of the
in-memory data grid and replication solution, at the same time having a very
simple and straightforward data structures abstractions on the client side - it
implements standard Java interfaces e.g. Map, Set, Queue, etc. The data
distribution is straightforward over TCP and it does not have complexities of
the EhCache RMI etc.

There are other cool capabilities in Hazelcast, but for distributed
TicketRegistry with multiple nodes - it just works seamlessly, with "no fuss"
configuration. (at least in my preliminary tests)

My main motivation is to use it as a replacement for EhCache deployments where
EhCache gave us too much "heartburn" with regards to RMI and networking woes.

Cheers,
Dmitriy.
