The management interface insofar really needs attention. Both UI and functionality need to be improved. Maybe something we can tackle in 4.x?

As we progress quite well with the implementation, I think it makes sense to add this to the 3.0 Spec so we might not have to work on a 3.1, later. I don't have any strong opinion on this but indeed, it's currently implemented in the CAS server 4.0 so it can be tracked in the CAS protocol 3.0. Does the CAS Server support both front- and back channel communications at the same time? Yes, both are supported at the same time, in the same logout process. If yes, is that decided in the Service manager application on a per-service base? Yes, it's defined at the service level (logoutType property), but you can't do it through the UI so far.
