I use it with MVC and it works just fine in the scenarios I’ve tried it in,
although I’m not using OWIN. I’ve never managed a project through NuGet before
so I don’t know what steps are required to update that. I’m a .Net programmer
and willing to offer what help I can.

Subject: [cas-dev] .Net CAS client

Hi,

The .Net CAS client is officially supported by the CAS community, but it
doesn't seem to be actively maintained lately.

I noticed that the latest version available in NuGet is the 1.0.1
(http://www.nuget.org/packages/DotNetCasClient), which has a security issue
fixed by the version 1.0.2 which can be downloaded only manually
(http://downloads.jasig.org/cas-clients/dotnet/dotnet-client-1.0.2-bin.zip).
This is cumbersome. I opened an issue 13 days ago
(https://github.com/Jasig/dotnet-cas-client/issues/20), but didn't get any
feedback.

Can we upload the latest version 1.0.2 on NuGet? What's the process? Who's got
the right to do that?

I also noticed that the .Net client does not benefit from the latest CAS server
v4 improvments (/p3 endpoints). An issue is opened:
https://github.com/Jasig/dotnet-cas-client/issues/17.

I don't know much the .Net world, but I know there is a MVC framework now in
addition to the original Web Forms. Is the CAS .Net client compatible with the
MVC framework?

Experts, volunteers, feedbacks and contributions are welcome.

I'm no .Net specialist, but I'm willing to help.

Thanks.
Best regards,

Jérôme LELEU
