Team,
The only remaining wrinkle in CAS 4.1 release planning is this item: https://github.com/Jasig/cas/pull/1083 This addresses the redesign of the management webapp. It's a fairly large pull, but it's 80% of UI plus some backend support to accommodate the CAS services model. Adam and I have tested this quite a bit, and I have got some docs to write but we feel it's in pretty good shape to go into CAS. Adam's been mostly in charge of the UX work, and he's done a fantastic job with bootstrap and angular to make the app look more appealing and intuitive. There are some screenshots attached to the related issue, and you can certainly pull down the branch and give it a try. Once that merges in, I'd like to propose that we cut RC1 as early as mid next week. Give it a couple of weeks or so, work through possible issues and bug reports that may come up and then cut the GA. 4.1 has been in development for the better part of 2014 and it's finally time to put something out and move on to the next release. Is that agreeable?
