frontends ?
If they are members of the same cluster they should have their own IP addresses
but share the same hostname... and same hostname => same certificate. (In this
case, load balancing could rely on DNS round robin...)

and my first idea is to use a wildcard certificate like *.cas.domain.com
the problem is that i must modify setDefaultHostnameVerifier for the client
Are you using this kind off certificates or register all your machine
cetificates
