Nothing, assuming you have either a single database or a database
cluster capable of real-time replication. The update to the
registered service happens to the in-memory collection of services on
the node you're working on as well as the database. The problem is
that the _other_ nodes don't know about the change; the flush/reload
scheduled task addresses that problem.
