I'm still a little unclear on what you're asking. It appears that you want, on the client end, to change an attribute and have that change pushed back to the CAS server and then changed in whatever data store it came from? If so, this won't currently work and it sounds like a messy can of worms to me, but I may be overlooking something obvious that would make it easy.
