Enable the logging for cas. Also you may find something in the catalina / 
localhost log files (Usual suspects : - NoClassDef / SaxParser Exceptions). 
Also the latest stable release of cas is 3.5.2. consider using it.

I'm newbie, when I install CAS Server 3.0.7 on TomCat 8.0 (Windows), I have a 
problem, when I go to http://localhost:8888/cas/ I received a bug "CAS is 
Unavailable

A general exception occurred while trying to access CAS. Please notify your 
system administrator." 

How can I fix it?
