Thanks Misagh, I ended up comparing the stock deployerConfigContext.xml
file from versions 3.4.12 and 3.5.2 and noticed they were slightly
different so I just started with a fresh cas.properties and
deployerConfigContext.xml file from 3.5.2 and re-added all of my
customizations and everything seemed to build fine.

Most likely, yes although still compare your modified files with that of
the 3.5.2's distribution, add/remove changes, etc just to be cautious.

Subject: [cas-user] upgrade from 3.4.12 to 3.5.2
Hi all,
I need to upgrade from 3.4.12 to 3.5.2. Here is a list of files that we
have
customized
- cas.properties (to change the server prefix)
- deployerConfigContext.xml (to enable the Services Management web app
and to
point the server to Active Directory for authentication and configure
what AD
attributes to pull)
Can I just edit the pom.xml file, change the <cas.version> to be 3.5.2
and
rebuild the war file and copy it into Apache or are there configuration
changes between 3.4.12 and 3.5.2 that will cause something to break?
Thanks
